Breaking Forecast: 8 Key Figures of China’s New Generation Artists (Nov 17 – Feb 28): UCCA’s biggest show of the year, this group of artists represents the creativity and widespread phenomenon of Chinese contemporary art in the new century. The Dialogue Wall: Talk to Me 1-1 With UCCA Chairs: Have you ever wished to speak with a curator or an artist? The opportunity has arrived with two scheduled days to have an open dialogue with UCCA curators and artists from the Breaking Forecast exhibition. Date: December 12th, 2009, UCCA Lobby (tbc) 2pm – 6pm: 1-1 dialogue with UCCA curators (Jérôme Sans or Guo Xiaoyan), or the artists from the Breaking Forecast exhibition *please allow 15 minutes for each visitor UCCAStore Grand Re-Opening : With a fresh design and new layout, UCCAStore will re-open its doors with Chinese designer created UCCA birthday products, 5% off Limited Edition products, and promotional deals on select merchandise. UCCArestaurant Superganbei Celebration Menu: Combining UCCA’s two year anniversary and the winter holidays, UCCArestaurant Superganbei will launch a specially designed menu, offering visitors a warm oasis and innovative dining experience. UCCA White Night (ART+MUSIC+MOVIE+FUN): The night will kick-off with a music party and exhibition guide, after guests are invited into UCCA auditorium for a special “sleepover” movie night with selected screenings of award winning Chinese films(film print screening).
